We are delighted to be hosting these monthly events, organised by community association Burston Community Wellbeing Projects.

Everyone is welcome to come for the full afternoon, taking part in various activities, or just pop in for a particular activity or as much time as you would like.

Booking is essential for the wellbeing activities - see below for all the info needed to book your spot. But if you would like to just come along for a cup of tea and a chat then booking is not needed.

1.30pm Yoga with Yasmina

60 minutes

Gentle Iyengar Yoga. Regular yoga practice connects the mind, body & soul , helping to keep joints and muscles supple, regulate natural bodily functions, eases stress and clears the mind. Classes are designed to suit individuals at their own level, available to all abilities as well as disabled/ wheelchair yoga.

1.30pm Nutrition Workshop with Meg

30 minutes

Join Naturopathic Nutritionist Meg Powell for a friendly and interactive introduction to balancing your blood sugar levels. Learn how to feel fuller for longer to avoid those β€˜hangry’ feelings! Learn about the importance of a healthy breakfast and why it is the most important meal of the day.

Meg will also be providing all the refreshments on the day so you can sample some of her delicious food.

2.45pm Boxercise with Kirsty

2 x 45 minute classes

Boxercise is a fun class, that will really work you hard. It will help increase both your strength and fitness. Classes give you all the fundamentals of boxing without the physical contact other than with pads. The class can include pad work, shadow boxing, aerobic exercises, strength and toning exercises, circuit style classes and even games to keep it interesting.

3pm Pregnancy Yoga with Emily

60 minutes

Gentle yoga for expectant mothers. Relaxed, calm and mindful movement to relieve tightness and tension and strengthen and stretch the body in preparation for birth. An adaptable and holistic course that will flow with the needs of mothers who attend.

4.30pm Family Yoga with Emily

60 minutes

A fun and adventurous way to introduce children to the magic of yoga. Classes combine yoga, mindfulness and movement with storytelling, games and imagination. Classes are designed for children from 5-11. And parents/carer you are invited to join in too!
