> What is different about The Space?

Finding such a wide variety and high standard of wellbeing classes and treatments so rurally is rare. The peaceful setting and beautiful, calming interior space sets The Space apart, decorated with wellbeing in mind and an abundance of natural light. The Space has the ability to bring you calm as soon as you walk in through the door.

> What can I expect from working from The Space?

You can expect a highly professional venue, ethos and working environment. With the friendly, supportive guuidance and managment from Lisa and Izzy who are also practitioners in the wellness industry. Each space is clean, light and airy with a beautiful aesthetic with key features for each - [the Cabin], [Studio Spaces] and [Treatment Rooms].

We also make environmentally aware choices, using biodegradable products when we can, paper towels, less plastics, chemical free, and natural cleaning products where possible for less toxicity and a healthier environment for staff and clients.

> What are your room rental rates?

The Cabin & Treatment Rooms 1-3:

> What should I bring to the space I'm working from?

We provide purpose built rooms, however please provide any equipment which you’ll use during your treatment or class. For example mats and equipment for your class, or couch cover, massage roll, blankets, towels, massage oil etc for your treatments.

> How do I book a room to work from?

For regular rental (ie. the same time slot for 6 or more weeks in a row), [please contact us directly to make your booking]. For adhoc rental, we use a third party booking system that is easy and straightforward to use - further information is provided when appropriate. [Please contact us if you have any questions].

Please note that cancellations can only be made within the agreed time.

> Is there a waiting area for my clients?

Due to Covid-19, our waiting areas are currently closed.

> What should I bring to my class or treatment?

> What is it like working from The Space?

We regularly hear glowing feedback from our practitioners and teachers who find The Space a welcoming, friendly, calm, relaxing and beautiful venue to work from. They enjoy being part of our friendly, supportive community of professionals. This network is not only enjoyable but also supports their businesses.

> How should I prepare my room?

Your room will always be clean and ready to go when you arrive. Please bring any equipment you’ll need to run your class or treatment. You may wish to play relaxing music from our bluetooth speakers, adjust the lighting and prepare your notes.

> Will I have to clean my room or is this included in the price?

Cleaning is included in the price. We pride ourselves on The Space being a clean environment to work in and so we do ask our practitioners and teachers to leave the room tidy and as they found it. For example, to take away their couch roll if they have filled the bin up, so that the room is ready for the next person.

> Are there any social events at The Space?

We run bi-monthly free, informal networking events. This is an opportunity to meet the other practitioners and teachers, share and promote what you offer and naturally find ways in which we can support each other’s businesses.

> How do you support your practitioners and teachers?

We offer friendly, supportive guidance and management from sister team Lisa and Izzy. As practitioners within the wellbeing industry, they have an insight into what you’ll need. When a new practitioner or teacher joins The Space, you'd be offered advice on the best ways for your business to thrive at The Space. You can also leave flyers, posters and business cards at The Space to promote your services. We have a ‘what’s on’ poster in our cafe area to promote classes and upcoming events and a monthly newsletter promoting teachers and pracitioners.

We also have a Whatsapp group for The Space professionals, allowing support and networking amongst our welcoming and friendly community. We encourage inter-referrals between practitioners and teachers which benefits you as well as your clients.

> What happens if I need to cancel my agreement early?

We do require a minimum notice for cancellation of bookings. These are: A minimum of 1 month’s notice in writing for the cancellation of one or all of a block booking. (A block is either three consecutive hours, or 6 hours booked in advance over a maximum of 6 weeks.) A minimum of 24 hours notice for the cancellation of a drop in booking. If you need to cancel within the minimum time required, then we will charge you for the hours booked.

> Do I need to provide references?

Yes, we require a reference from your previous place of work, or training institution (if you are recently qualified).

> Is there sufficient heating during colder months?

We will set our heating to come on for your class or treatment, and work hard to ensure The Space is cosy and welcoming for you. There are additional ‘booster’ heaters in each room, as well as electric blankets for massage beds, should you require any extra warmth. Likewise we have fans in each room for the summer.

> Is there wifi at The Space?

Yes, we have free wifi throughout the building.

> Is car parking available at The Space?

Yes, we have free parking directly outside the door.

> Is there disability access at The Space?

Yes, we have disability access and are fully accessible for wheelchair users. Please inform your practitioner or teacher when you book that you'd require disability access.

> What Covid-19 practices are in place?
