Naturopathy

A naturopathic practitioner is a health professional who utilises natural, non-invasive therapies to support the body’s innate ability to heal.

They take a holistic, patient-centered approach, aiming to identify and treat the root cause of illness rather than just managing symptoms.

Within my work as a Naturopathic Health Practitioner I encorporate the core Naturopathic Principles, these include:

First, Do No Harm (Primum Non Nocere): Utilise the most gentle, non-invasive, and effective methods to minimise risks and adverse effects.

The Healing Power of Nature (Vis Medicatrix Naturae): Recognise, support, and enhance the body's inherent ability to heal itself.

Identify and Treat the Causes (Tolle Causam): Identify and remove the underlying causes of illness rather than just treating symptoms.

Treat the Whole Person (Tolle Totum): Consider the physical, mental, emotional, genetic, environmental, and social factors in a personalised treatment plan.

Doctor as Teacher (Docere): Educate and empower patients to take responsibility for their own health and wellness.

Prevention and Health Promotion: Focus on overall health, wellness, and disease prevention through healthy lifestyle habits

Meg's long-term goal is to become a full Naturopath
